I watched it. The stuff on modi wasn’t wrong or bad. Their whole shots at venuzeula was how authoritarianly they oppressed opposition. Even about russia saying how the only opposition navalny was silenced. I thought navalny was some activist or whatever since when he is an opposition party person. But yeah whole video was iffy at best.

I know the channel found em years ago. Their stuff on aussie land is good. Funny even, some of it if I remember. I tried to suss out what their politics were a while back. Seemed like socdems from aussie land for me.

Their video on gaza is more worse. They do both sides are bad and situation is bad. They even link some “voices” in the comments. The “voices” were : some think tank people and one Israeli crying about how leftists are not condemning hamas.

Which is interesting cause their oldest videos were some panel interview with john pilger.

I think the mention of Iran is what really pissed me off. They start out mentioning how Mossadegh was overthrown by the CIA for the oil and then without a hint of irony, mention in the same breath that Iran’s elections are a sham and how Iran is also aUtHorItAriAn for choosing it’s leaders.

I’m like mf, you forgot to mention how the US installed the shah and how brutal he was for over 25 years and that the imams that lead now and previously lead the student revolution to overthrow the shah are a reaction to being oppressed and having their wealth stolen by the US. It’s no wonder why most Iranians don’t vote. Too many bad memories and they probably feel that they have a govt that works, even though it’s a theocracy.

Someone asked me recently if I could think of any country that’s suffered a greater hit to its reputation from being connected to the internet than India.

It went from being known by most people for spirituality, yoga, and great food to being associated with scam calls, online sex pests, and delusional nationalists.

it’s partially Indian people’s fault for referring to themselves as “Indian” first instead of their actual ethnicity

if someone asks me what ethnicity I am I’d always just say Marathi/Tamil/etc first. Not my fault if they’re too dumb to know what that is

Iirc their Tasmania one got taken down because they included a picture of a politician. They re-uploaded it with a potato in place of his face.

    lul, mayo video

more inequality than under british rule

okay, so why haven’t I seen 30 million dead West Bengalis, you stupid cracker?

I swear, crackers and their pets, even the succdem ones, sometimes seem like they’re ACTIVELY TRYING to bring about some kind of Indian fascism.

You could’ve just kept it at minority rights and inequality, stupid-ass religious fanaticism, and Modi cringe, but nah you had to sneak in some mayo cope about how brits were better even though they starved over 10 million Indians of various ethnicities (mostly Bengali)

It’s analogous to saying that blacks were better off under slavery lmfao. stupid ass goris
