That all sounds largely out of scope for a materialist wiki. Why critique the minutia of Eastern Orthodoxy when we already reject idealism in its entirety?
I mean people should just be aware of the differences between factions of christianity and their impacts on society.
Do they have meaningfuly different impacts on society?
When I think of say Protestants and Catholics in Ireland for example. The Protestants have always been the supremacists, but only because they’ve predominantly been the settler colonists. But conflict in Ireland is usually framed in a Catholic v Protestant way. However this is just either a lazy shorthand or an intentional obfuscation of the real material basis of colonialist oppression. There is no religious conflict ensuing from matters of canon or dogma. Very few actually understand those differences.
I wonder if all apparent religious conflicts are better framed in their Marxist-Leninist class based common denominators. Religions to me are just Idealist daydreams used as primitive tools of control.
Probably psychological concepts such as Catholic guilt have an impact on society, but is this a type of area that we should bother with as Marxists?
True, its just good general knowledge that is helpful for understanding the specifics of history and the minutia of Dominionism for example.
It wouldn’t hurt to have some basic knowledge of the various existing religions but overall the question of religion has already been solved by the CPC.
Existentialism is mentioned under Contemporary bourgeois philosophy, though bit more could be said about these and of the “compatible left”.

I agree, this could be nice, but we’re currently lacking editors knowledgeable on this particular area
We already have articles on Islam, Judaism, and Christianity and pages on many philosophers and philosophical trends as well as a general page on philosophy explaining different forms of philosophy. We don’t yet have pages about specific branches of religions such as Sunni/Shia or Protestant/Catholic/Orthodox yet but we may in the future.
I see the philosophy article now. Not very detailed, but it’s a good start.
