Most of them aren’t actually local participants and they drive or bus in to disrupt shit and appear much more local and larger than they are. In reality they’re from all over the place and you only have a small handful of them making a stink.

Let’s not mince words. It wasn’t backlash, it was domestic terrorists calling in bomb threats and throwing physical temper tantrums inside their stores and scaring people and companies into what they wanted. Which they kind of got, so we’re definitely going to see more of this.

Again, if you’re a minority, arm the fuck up and learn how to be safe. These people don’t want you to exist.

I’ve noticed that this is the case in pretty much all store bought tomatoes in the last few years, even the ugly, expensive heirloom ones. I wonder if they’re all just hydroponically grown, but I know there are a lot of factors to these and I’m probably eating a tomato that was harvested over a year ago.

Tomato sauce doesn’t need fresh tomatoes. You can probably make decent enough sauce out of like 20+ year old dehydrated tomatoes and a bunch of salt, spices, sugar and a touch of MSG.

I don’t think that’s a reasonable take on all of this, personally. I’m definitely not going to defend his bad actions, and like I said there should be consequences to the things he’s done and I would like to see him knocked down a notch, but I don’t see him as a horrible person.

Burn it all to the ground really isn’t a rational answer here, nobody just shuts down a business they and their family and friends have worked at for over a decade because there are bumps on the road. That’s just not how business works.

Honestly, props to Linus for staying with it.

I mean he doesn’t really have a choice, and while he’s not the CEO anymore, it’s his and his wife’s company and they will do anything to try to keep it going. This is a logical step and shutting it down would likely doom the business.

That’s an insane take for sure, but you always filter out the extremes when it comes to things like this, but what LTT did with Billet Lab’s prototype is pretty abhorrent and they should absolutely try to sue. I’m not really one for drama, but it’s interesting to see how people online are interpreting this whole thing and just how many people call this “LMG’s downfall” or think that this will seriously negatively impact them in the long run.

I was a fan of their stuff for years and enjoy having the WAN show in the background, but some of this stuff is pretty egregious and it would be good to have Linus be cut down and humbled a bit, his attitude and approach to a lot of things just fucking sucks. I’m personally taking a pause from their channel for some time, there’s no shortage of other stuff to watch and listen to online. Oh well.
