Gothic 3, all those years later I am still upset about it. The vast open world traversable without loading screens was an impressive achievement, especially for its time, but it got wasted on a rushed and incomplete product.

Yep, it looks like it’s from 3CB, and the faction is called CCM - Chernarus Communist Millitia.
Might be, I had a hard time tracking down its exact origin because I tried to run the mainline Antistasi at some point and couldn’t find it with any mod combo. Let me give it a check and see if I can pinpoint it because I still have the game and my mod setup installed.
You’re welcome comrade. If the Vietnam DLC is available, this scenario also looks cool but I haven’t tried it personally: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2636944646
Hexbears are playing one of my favorite games and I have my dominant hand bandaged up aaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAHHhh
I hope I will get well soon enough to join in. From my previous Antistasi campaigns I can recommend Antistasi Plus on Chernarus 2020, it comes with a comfy communist millitia player faction with SKS and PPSh as starter guns.
Check out Viva New Vegas, it’s a solid vanilla+ setup. I used it earlier this year as a base and added some more stuff on top and it worked like a charm.
Oh neat I played this for a bit when it first launched but dropped it due to not having a stable group to play with. I’ll drop in one of these days.
Imagine being one of the wealthiest people on the planet but so desperate to feel oppressed that you do performative outrage over an app’s in-built editor giving you conversion notes for commonly used systems of measurement.
Does it strike anyone else as slightly sus how the community just instantly defers all decision making to the nearest lickable-looking boot?
As an Owlcat enthusiast who has Kingmaker as their most played non-sandbox game with 400+ hours on Steam, I wholeheartedly approve. Much like you should never go to a second location, you should also never play an Owlcat game until at least a year has passed after launch.
Some people I knew got into it, discussed it a lot for the first couple of days, then they got burnt out pretty quick and concluded it is bland and repetitive. Haven’t heard much about it since, and I haven’t personally tried it myself.
9 honorable mentions:
Big event if they manage to force the Ukrainians out of there, this is where a lot of the shelling targeted at Donetsk is coming from. Godspeed to the soldiers on the ground, hope the people of Donetsk finally get reprieve from daily artillery strikes after almost 10 years.
This is a game that looked very interesting to me when I heard of it but never got around to playing due to g*mers. I’d be down to give it a shot in a server with decent people if my complete lack of experience won’t be an issue.
It is really cool. The fact that most structures are destructible opens up so many fun possibilities. You can be on the 1st floor of a building and have a shootout through holes in the floor with enemies that are below. The storyline is very silly and nazi power armor makes an appearance towards the end, but iirc there is a mod to remove those for those who find them too silly. I definitely recommend it to anyone who even remotely likes turn based tactics.
PTO is one of the things that shocked me and made me realize how utterly shit workers’ rights are in the US. Even on my very first minimum wage job I got as a college dropout, I was entitled to 20 PTO days + a whole bunch of public holidays.
I had the naval infantry cat saved but didn’t know about the others. I love accordion cat’s energy.
I agree, the Western Front of WW2 was asshole infighting.
Gonna keep it to things not already mentioned.
