He shit on Kanye in his music recently, so while this is very wtf to me, I’d still like to hear the explanation before writing off his stuff forever because of one photograph. If the explanation is “oh, I know Kanye is a Nazi, I just think his music is cool” then you won’t see me defending anyone.

I’m not trying to say that’s wrong in any way, just that I don’t have a material attachment so I want to see some form of explanation to decide whether I listen to Peggy’s work again. Since it’s not like he’s a member of a political movement with material consequences, it just seems online to me to suggest my behavior of wanting to hear an explanation is inappropriate. If the explanation is much outside of “lol look at this pic I got with Kanye, he doesn’t know I hate him” then I think there’s no salvaging it. It just doesn’t make sense to me to fully condemn or acquit someone who has expressed opposite views repeatedly without further information.
